A Buick Park Avenue Ultra makes a contemporary Cadillac SeVille STS look small.

Kinja'd!!!

I’ll give you all one guess which one’s faster.

Did I see the murdersofa rolling down I75 in GA today or has someone done some serious copycatting?

Pretty sure the Buick is faster. Dat supercharged 3800 Series II.

Edit: Nope, SeVille has a better engine than I thought.

I still want to make a PAU into a bit of a SLAB/lowrider/Cruiser setup. Basically airbag it with some nice 18” wheels, a healthy amount of nakimichi or blaupunkt audio, and breathe on the engine a bit for.....Eh, 280hp/350 lb/ft should be enough. SMaller pulley + tune + supporting mods should all be available from ZZP.

If you go smaller pulley then water/meth injection is a must unless you want your engine to knock like a Jehovah’s Witness.

The correct answer is neither. The SeVille has a blown head gasket and broken starter and the PAU’s water meth and supercharger systems aren’t installed.

Nope. Blown head gasket and broken starter. And the PAU has no supercharger, intercooler, watermeth system, etc. installed at the moment so the answer is... neither.

Not if you don’t go crazy. Most 3800 IIs with either one or two “steps” smaller do fine without changing the injection system but you do need to run colder plugs. From my time with a Riviera with that motor, the ignition system is where you need to do some upgrades/maintenance first. If you decide to step down half an inch though, then yes you need to do some serious work all over (radiator, transmission, fuel pump, fuel injectors, ECU, etc...) because that blower is now going to try and add 100+hp.

Kinja'd!!!

This has something like 300 horsepower if I remember correctly. Must be faster.

Blown headgasket != faster.

Of course, the PAU doesn’t have any of the intake installed, so...

The correct answer is neither :D
